What services does the clinic provide?
The service of Pediatric Urology offers diagnostic evaluation and treatment of infants and children with genitourinary disorders. Urology services for infants and children include penile and genital reconstruction and surgery of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, penis, and testes. The service treats patients with tumors of the urinary and genital tracts in infants and children

Referral process
The referral process is made through a direct referral from a physician or surgeon to one of our surgeons. Referrals can be faxed directly to clinic.

Clinic hours
The clinic hours are Monday to Friday (closed on holidays)
8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
1:00 to 4:30 p.m.
Urgent referrals
The clinics are not for emergencies. If your child needs to be seen on an urgent basis, please contact your family doctor or go to your local emergency department.
Changing your appointment
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change your child's appointment by calling the numbers above. There is a long waiting time for this clinic and we therefore appreciate as much warning as possible so patients in need can be accommodated
Important
If your child has a communicable disease such as Chicken Pox or has been in contact with someone with Chicken Pox, please call the clinic before you come to the hospital
What should you bring to the clinic?
Health Card for your child - the Ministry of Health requires us to validate your health card
If your child has had x-ray studies done outside of the McMaster Children's Hospital it is important to bring the films and/or report of the x-rays please bring them to your first appointment.
