Research holds the key to solving many of the physical and emotional challenges facing our children today.
McMaster Children's Hospital is advancing our knowledge of children's health care to better meet the needs of all children, from the smallest premature infant to young adults. The McMaster Children's Hospital strives to advance and share knowledge gained through research to improve the health and healthcare of children.
As an academic institution the McMaster Children's Hospital integrates research across it's programs and services. In addition, in 2012 we established the McMASTER CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL RESEARCH COLLABORATIVE (MCHRC), which is supported by the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation and McMaster Children's Hospital. The MCHRC provides operating grants to established research programs, emerging research areas and supports five research chairs in partnership with McMaster University.
