Developmental Pediatrics and Rehabilitation (DPR)

Developmental Pediatrics and Rehabilitation (DPR) is a portfolio of the teaching hospital that is McMaster Children's Hospital. DPR is comprised of several different programs providing outpatient services to children (and some adults) and their families with developmental, behavioural, physical or communication needs. 

Developmental Pediatrics and Rehabilitation is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Children and Youth Services as well as the Ministry of Health, Long Term Care.

Program Moves

Children's Developmental Rehabilitation Programme (CDRP), Technology Access Clinic (TAC), and Special Needs Service (includes Special Needs at Home and Brokerage) will be moving into the Holbrook Building, Chedoke Campus the week of March 15, 2010.

During the week of March 15 through March 19, we will be closing these services to relocate our staff and our equipment and materials. Our staff will be available for emergencies or visits that can occur in the community.

As of March 22, clients and families will be seen in the Holbrook Building (either in the B wing on the first floor or in the A or B wing on the second floor) for their appointments. Please check in with the receptionist as you enter the building and she will direct you accordingly. Also, it is important for you to note that pay-on-exit coin machines are in place for parking at the Holbrook (a flat rate of $5). A 15-minute grace period will be provided for families or services (such as DARTS) that need to drop off or pick up clients.
